What life with Louie may feel like

RASKC's current listing notes: I came to RASKC on April 13, 2026. A local family found me and my sister in their yard, no mom in sight. As feral kitties we weren't used to people at all. We were happy to be inside a house with regular food and a litterbox. But we were not used to being petted or handled in any way. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was curious and playful but did not allow anyone to touch me. I would hiss and swat at anyone who tried. Now after a few months in my foster home, I'm a lot more social. I have learned how nice it is to be petted. I love having my ears and head and chin rubbed. I twine around my foster mom's legs now to get her attention and then I flop on my side to get more pets. I have become quite the affectionate guy! I share my foster home with an 8-week-old kitten (A750251). She's still pretty small but we have plenty of fun and games and chase around the house. At eight months I too am just a big playful kitten. I will love opportunities to chase wands or balls with you. Note that I am not fond of being picked up, as yet. Because I was a feral kitten, this kind of handling is a big step for me. Moving to a new home will be a big step for me as well! I'll need a quiet safe space for a while at first. But now that I understand people better and trust them, it's time for me to find my forever home. As I'm currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me!
