What life with Mj may feel like

RASKC's current listing notes: Neutered Male Domestic Mediumhair Cat I was brought to RASKC on August 4, 2026 after I was injured by an animal. I had to have my leg amputated due to that injury, but it has not slowed me down at all! I went to a wonderful foster home for a couple of weeks so I can heal from my surgery, but I am ready to find my forever family now. My foster family says that I was quite shy, but I always had a good appetite and used the litterbox. As the days went on I slowly became more comfortable and began walking around more when they were around. In my new home it may take me a little bit to warm up, but once my true color shows it will be pretty wonderful. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home. I am a medium-haired cat which will require frequent grooming, please keep that in mind :) I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
