What life with Oreo may feel like

RASKC's current listing notes: Neutered Male Domestic Shorthair Cat I am a sweet, loving, affectionate guy. I love to flop over and get back rubs while I purr and make muffins for you! You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032. Come and visit me today, I'd love to go home with you! Your new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below. 1) Dental disease - this cat has moderate tartar and staining of his teeth and mild gingivitis. Please follow up up with your regular vet or a veterinary dentist for treatment/management recmomendations. 2) Heart murmur and arrhythmia - at time of intake, this cat was noted to have a mild grade II/VI heart murmur and an arrhythmia. This may be secondary to his other health issues, stress, or underlying heart disease. Please follow up with your regular vet or a veterinary cardiologist. 3) Underweight and dehydrated - this cat arrived at the shelter underweight and dehydrated. He has been eating and drinking normally. We suspect this is due to malnutrition. Please follow up with your regular vet. 4) Enucleation of the right eye - this cat arrived at the shelter with a ruptured nonviable painful eye. We suspect this was due to trauma. His right eye was removed on 8/15/26. He will need suture removal in 10-14 days. Please follow up with your regular vet. 5) Congestion and sneezing - this cat arrived at the shelter with some congestion and sneezing. We suspect this was due to trauma to the right side of his face (eye and nose). We cannot rule out any underlying damage to his sinuses. Please follow up with your regular vet for any diagnostic (i.e. x-ray or other imaging) and treatment/management recommendations. Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.
