What life with Pizza may feel like
RASKC's current listing notes: I was brought in by my previous owner on April 20, 2026 because they could no longer care for me. My previous owner described me as shy and nervous, but playful once I get comfortable. I was not doing well in the shelter because of my increased stress and the large number of people that pass through a shelter daily so I quickly went to a wonderful foster home. My foster says this about me, "Pizza has actually become really friendly and cuddly with me, but he's still getting used to exploring new parts of the house and seeing my relatives." Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children (fast movements and loud noises startle me). When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home. I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend! I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! You can find that form under "read about our adoption process" then click on "foster path".
